Yadira Baquero
Founder and CEO
Industrial engineer with a master’s degree in Business Administration and doctoral studies in Technical Sciences from the Technical University of Vienna. I have more than fifteen years of experience in international technical cooperation, technology transfer, and sustainable industrial development, working with public institutions, multilateral organizations, and productive sectors across Latin America, Europe, and Africa. My work has focused on productivity modernization projects, circular economy, digitalization, and innovation, aligned with SDG 9.
I have built a solid track record of collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), where I coordinated regional initiatives, supported industrial policy processes, and provided technical assistance in areas such as decarbonization, SME development, renewable energy, digitalization, and strategies for Eco-Industrial Parks.
I also led the Industrial Knowledge Bank and the South–South and Triangular Cooperation Mechanism, managing technical cooperation across various countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
In 2022, I founded ATLAC Technotransfer & Consulting, a company dedicated to technology transfer, industrial cooperation, and market access between Europe and Latin America.
From ATLAC, I provide strategic support to SMEs, public institutions, and productive actors in international market integration processes, industrial strengthening, innovation, and alliance building, promoting more competitive, resilient, and sustainable industrial models.
