Bolivia Strengthens the Circular Economy in Small- and Medium-Scale Production
Within the framework of technical cooperation between Chile and Bolivia, strategic actions were developed to strengthen the circular economy in small-scale production. This binational collaboration aimed to promote sustainable production models capable of generating tangible benefits for local communities in Bolivia.
Among the activities carried out, key highlights include the recommendation of strategies to adjust and implement the national economic program, with particular emphasis on incorporating circular economy principles. Technical feedback was also provided on the proposal for the national circular economy program for small-scale production, both through written reports and direct exchange meetings.
During the sessions, a Chilean expert presented to Bolivian counterparts the most recent progress in circular economy public policies developed in Chile. These experiences included planning tools, evaluation mechanisms, and successful case studies applied in local productive sectors.
Cooperation between Chile and Bolivia represents a concrete example of how collaborative efforts can accelerate the transformation of productive systems, generating positive impacts on the environment, the economy, and the quality of life of communities.
